Craig

If the Turbo Monkeys were a British Girl Band, Craig would be called “Scary Testosterone Spice”, but since Craig can’t sing or dance in heels he writes scary YA thrillers.
An award winning screenwriter, director and producer, Craig honed his skills consulting to Dreamworks SKG, Deluxe Labs and KCET at that time the nation’s largest PBS station.

Although known for his love of all things that go bump in the night, Craig's aim is to entertain kids.
His Lil Emo’s HalloweEmo screened at Comic Con, Wonder Con, The Children’s International Film Festivals in San Diego, San Francisco, New Orleans and Santa Monica.

Rock Jocks, Craig’s teen centric Sci Fi comedy starring Felicia Day, Jason Mewes, Robert Picardo, Justin Chon, Andrew Bowen and Gerry Bednob, opens September 2012.

Craig's greatest joy is writing a smart and sassy female hero overcoming a terrible injustice without the need of rescue.
A prime example is his latest project, The Goths, a web series, enhanced ebook and graphic novel (available at Amazon.com and Itunes).

Craig likes working 18 hour days because he believes the lack of sleep heightens the snark.
Favorite writers and/or artists:  J.R.R.Tolkien, Sir Arthur Conan Doyle, Stephen King, Tim Burton, Steven Spielberg, Alfred Hitchcock, Salvador Dali, M. C. Escher, Evanescence, Brad Paisley and the Turbo Monkey gals.

How I monkey around:  Craig’s prime directive is disrupting the other monkeys, but when he’s not doing that you might see him cycling like a maniac or in the kitchen preparing a gourmet meal.
